About Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts is a non-formal, experiential and cooperative educational program that promotes girls' personal growth and leadership development. Partnering with caring adults, girls design fun and challenging activities that empower them and raise their voices within a local, national and global sisterhood. Girls discover, lead and take action as well as develop the courage, confidence, character and leadership skills to succeed for a lifetime while making the world a better place.

Troop Organization
Girl Scouts troops are organized by grade/level, including:
  • Daisy (ages 5-6 in grades K and 1)
  • Brownie (ages 6-8 in grades 1-3)
  • Junior (ages 8-11 in grades 4-5)
  • Cadette (ages 11-13 in grades 6-7).
