Janet was raised on the south side of Madison and attended both parochial and public schools. She holds a degree in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse.

Her career has included teaching junior and high school in Rio and at Queen of Apostles High School (now closed) in Madison. She has also taught enrichment classes for the public school system and was a tutor/mentor at Whitehorse School in Madison for several years. She has substitute taught at St. Dennis and also served as Administrative Assistant to the Youth Minister for the parish.

Janet has been at St. Dennis for approximately 13 years. “The staff and faculty here are wonderful; friends as well as colleagues,” she says. “I love my students and I have fun every day introducing them to foreign language.”

She and her husband, Paul, have been married 35 years and have three children.
