The Magazine Sale is in full gear!
This annual fall fundraiser helps us make our great school even better, and it’s a lot of fun, too! Here are the details:
The sale runs form Thursday, September 6th through Friday, September 21st. Orders must be returned with money in the fundraising envelope that was sent home with your child on September 6.
In addition to magazines, food and gifts are available.
Orders may be placed using the forms provided in the fundraising envelope. There is an option for magazine orders to be placed online. To set up an account for your child, visit www.apmags.com and enter the school code: SAINTDENNIS. This is an easy way to solicit orders from friends and family near or far.
Students who wish to participate in the Quick Start Award (QSA) must meet the milestones on the QSA form by Tuesday, September 11 to qualify for special prizes. You can download the form here:
And speaking of prizes, there are BIG incentives for students to get those sales. As is tradition, we’ll celebrate the success of the sale with a toy pig race that pits class against class. If you’re new to St. Dennis, you’ll soon learn this is a much anticipated event. AND, if our sale total increases by just $1 over last year, we’ll have a party with ice cream and prizes in addition to the pig race. The class that secures the most orders will also enjoy funds specifically for that classroom.
But we’re not finished yet! Every student who sells 15 orders gets to spend a school day leaving the books behind and having fun at Kalahari! A full day of fun, transportation and lunch are provided. If you have multiple students at St. Dennis, each one will qualify if the family sells 25 orders. The trip will take place on Friday, November 16.
