
Matt Beisser
Principal
Mr. Beisser’s philosophy is simple: Choose your attitude and have fun! He received his undergrad from UW-Whitewater and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University. He and his wife have two children who attend St. Dennis, and he loves coaching and playing soccer.

Sue Besler
Facilities Manager
Sue was baptized at St. Dennis and attended school here. After being an active volunteer while her daughters were here, she filled roles in the kitchen and maintenance. Today, she helps in the finance office and manages our facilities. She loves being here and considers it her second home.

Barb Brochtrup
Art
Ms. Brochtrup’s goal as an art teacher is to help students become confident and competent artistically, and to develop a greater understanding and appreciation of art. She has been teaching at St. Dennis since 2012. Prior to that, she taught in Madison public schools for 25 years.

Phil Burr
Maintenance
Phil starting working building maintenance at St Dennis in 2015, and helps keeps things running smooth and safe. He enjoys camping and competition bowling.

Linda Dorn
Grade 2
Linda has been teaching at St. Dennis for more than 20 years and loves the community of teachers, parents and students. In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband and two daughters. One of her daughters will follow in her footsteps as she studies UW-LaCrosse to become an elementary teacher.

Jason Pothof
Grade 8, Language Arts & Athletic Director
Mr. Pothof is a 2010 graduate of Marian University and has been the 8th grade home room and middle school language arts teacher since 2012. He likes to make learning fun and entertaining. Pothof also serves as a Student Council Advisor and the Athletic Director.

Maureen Romaniak
5K
Since 1991, Ms. Romaniak has served St. Dennis School. Starting with 2nd grade, then 6th, she finally landed in 5K. All three of her daughters attended the school where they received “the best education in town.” In her free time, she enjoys walking and spending time with family.

Rosie Troia
Instructional Assistant
Ms. Troia has been at St. Dennis School for 40 years. After a career teaching 3rd and 4th grade, she now helps out three days a week teaching cursive, math and and art. She loves that she gets to hang out the with kids while having extra time to hang out with her husband.
